Today, April 21st, is Holocaust Remembrance Day. In honor of the people who died in during the Holocaust, am I featuring a booklist of WWII era books. I will also be posting a special book review for The Boy Who Dared by Susan Campbell Bartoletti on Thursday. Today is not just a day to remember, it's a day to make sure another holocaust never happens again; to pick our leaders wisely. Remember how Hitler came to power, remember the consequences. Read about the past to apply to the future. Happy reading guys!

I've just finished studying the Holocaust and the Second World War and soon I have an exam so maybe I'll read some books about it.
I loved the Boy in the Striped Pajamas and The Book Thief-amazing books. The Holocaust is just so sad, I hope nothing like that ever happens it's just so wrong... :(
Wdebo :)
P.S. I also have an award for you on my blog!

Have you read Briar Rose by Jane Yolen? Amazing book. The Wave by Todd Strasser is another must read. And Milkweed by Jerry Spinelli, too. It's geared towards a younger audience, but still good.
